Administrative Assistant

DESCRIPTIONMarketing VP for National Service Company seeks an Administrative Assistant to work closely with VP to support his efforts to develop new business for the company. Top candidates will understand the sensitivity required to support a Corporate VP. This is a critical position that requires support and loyalty to the policies and philosphies of the VP. The successful applicant will have advanced computer skills with a full capability to network printers, troubleshoot computer problems, scan documents and understand the operation of high speed, high tech printers. The position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel. The successful candidate will use Macromedia, Adobe Design to design proposals and promotional materials. Advanced computer capability critical to success. This individual will design presentations for the VP using Powerpoint supported by Excel charts and graphs. This position maintains the proposal schedules, maintains communications for the VP and interacts with field managers in the name of the VP. This position also schedules VP's travel and maintains his expense reports. The administrative assistant will also format and produce proposals editing the text and guaranteeing that the proposals are Defect Free. Successful candidate will enjoy fast-paced environment with challenging work load with multiple daily deadlines. Must understand business concepts, philosophy.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTSAdvanced capability in Microsoft Office Suite with special emphasis on Word, Excel and Powerpoint with capability to make High Tech printers, scanners work. Capable in Adobe In Design. 4 yr. Degree or commensurate experience. Minimum of 3 yrs of successful experience as an executive administrative assistant. Experience in producing proposals in response to customer RFP's. Enjoying fast-paced environment with multiple daily challenges will be a valuable attribute. Must be comfortable with dynamic, high volume production responsibility. Multi-tasking a must.
