Administrative Analyst

The person selected for this position effectively utilizes technology to provide analytical information to marketing staff concerning the performance of the agency force. The person will also assure accurate administration of agency contracts in compliance with state regulations, maintain current agency information, and provide administrative support of sales activities.
REQUIREMENTS
•Develops underwriting premium/loss reports and loss trends programs and utilizes them to assist management in rate making decisions.
•Aggregates data from multiple sources, verifies accuracy of record population, designs and produces reports for distribution to senior management and department personnel. Prepares written reports with adequate documentation of approach and source of data, provides oral presentation on conclusions and where appropriate, suggests recommendations.
•Designs and develops (or researches and obtains) financial models and reports to enhance business decision support systems. Critical analysis and modeling activities to quantify the impact of various actions on key business metrics may include product pricing changes, competition and market share studies, customer satisfaction and retention strategies, agent performance and benchmarking, and distribution, territorial and demographic analysis.
•Develops ad hoc reports to support various informational needs with business development department. Examples include cross-selling prospect lists, new business profiling, and distribution of revenues across product groupings.
•Serves as the Corporate Customer Service Advocate by leading the customer service training and orientation efforts, facilitating the customer complaint process for the organization, and tracking and reporting customer complaint information on a timely basis.
•Supports the new agency appointment process through administration of agency contracts, producer licensing, commission schedules and amendments to those documents. Assures compliance with Insurance Department contract and licensing requirements and timelines. Ensures that agency information is current and accurate and provides input for system enhancement.
•Generates and distributes monthly sales reports and other production reports as requested. Monitors Business Development budget items, reporting variances to management.
•Provides support to Business Development Representatives by coordinating sales meetings, outings and convention participation, assisting in maintaining follow-up on issues for Agent Advisory Council and Advisory Panel meetings, monitoring field travel and meeting expenditures, and tracking and reporting sales contest results.
•Develops and maintains a program for tracking current and obsolete policy forms, policyholder mailing inserts, and company-specific supplementary applications by line of business, state, and effective/expiration dates. Works with department resources to provide accurate, timely, relevant information, forms, and procedures on company intranet.
