Acute Account Manager - Sacramento, CA
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: SalesResponsibilities: Build your career and experience being a part of a world class sales force! Our Acute Account Managers represent GE Healthcare and its business partners as the technology leader and vendor of choice for Patient Monitoring and Diagnostic Cardiology solutions. Achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage servicing hospital accounts.
Develop and implement an annual business plan supporting attainment of quota and market share growth, and provide accurate and timely predictions of business cycles.
Utilize Miller-Heiman Strategic Selling principles to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel and accurate profile of customer assets.
Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE and competitive products.
Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key buying influences in each account, including a focus on selling at the CEO/CFO/CIO level
Maintain complete knowledge of each account's current and long-term purchase plans and objectives, keeping management informed of all changes in plans and key buying influences.
Lead the sales of service contracts to increase volume in assigned territory.~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in technical, science or business discipline and five years of successful capital medical equipment sales experience; or eight years pharmaceutical/medical sales experience
Three years experience working in a complex sales environment, where multiple people are involved in the purchasing decision, including a history of C-Level exposure.
Must live in sales territory and be willing to travel up to 50% of time, within territory and to regional and national sales meetings and tradeshows.
Unrestricted work authorization in the US, without sponsorship
Willingness to submit to and pass a drug test and educational, employment and criminal background checks.Desired: * Successful career path illustrating a motivated and driven mentality to achieve.
Proficiency in Miller-Heiman Strategic Selling principles and tools.
Patient Monitoring, Diagnostic Cardiology or Capital equipment sales experience in a hospital environment.
Demonstrated aptitude and success in fostering solid, value-based clinician relationships.
Intellectual capacity to interpret trends and data, translating the information into actions and improvements.
Self-starter and independent thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously
Robust interpersonal skills, with evidence of teamwork and collaboration * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with customers at all levels
Solid process orientation, demonstrated resource management and allocation experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
