Acquisition Professional III

L-3 Communications Titan Group, Intelligence Solutions Division has an opening for an Acquisition Professional III.

This position provides consulting support on functions of program management. Assists program managers in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessment and managing integrated product teams. Provides expertise on the myriad of factors that influence cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Advises in the interpretation and tailoring of DoD/NSA acquisition regulations/memorandums, and ensures affordable, supportable and effective systems are delivered to the customer. Provides assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience: Fourteen (14) years experience in DoD acquisition management, program management, and/or contract management.

Certification and Training: Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in any discipline. In lieu of DAWIA Level III certification, a professionally recognized certification, such as the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Category 1 certification or NSA Acquisition Career Development Program (ACDP) Level III certification in any acquisition discipline may be substituted. In lieu of certification, DAWIA or otherwise, an additional four (4) years experience of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted.

General Comments:
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred. Applicants selected will be subjected to a US government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information. US Citizenship required.
