Acquisition Logistician Lead Analyst

SRA is consistently recognized as an IT leader by clients, industry associations, and business and technology publications.Daily Responsibilities: The person filling this position will be the Acquisition Logistician Lead Analyst and will provide technical logistics support for the client. This individual will be expected to:
Oversee and develop, coordinate, and publish Network Enterprise Domain (NED) Enterprise Integrated Logistics Supportability guidance for all client program Domain and waveform software developers; includes procedures for implementing Performance based Logistics (PBL) initiatives across all elements of integrated logistics support
Oversee and develop, coordinate, and publish NED Enterprise Training Plan guidance for all Domains and software developers; emphasizing need for embedded, training considerations and ensuring training packages are part of the waveform software deliveries to field users.
Co-chair NED Enterprise IPT; create and conduct briefings, lead discussions, and facilitate forums to encourage positive exchange of ideas with the focus on joint service developments and implementations.
Create and present briefings to high level Joint Staff and OSD officials regarding logistics supportability and embedded training issues.
Actively participate in IPTs and telecons to ensure logistics and training issues are vetted and considered as part of the overall acquisition process; includes inputs to the Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARD), Acquisition Strategy Report (ASR), Systems Engineering Plan (SEMP), and a host of other acquisition documentation required by DoD 5000.
Provide overall management of property accountability functions for the NED through use of the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS); creating authorizations, issues, turn-ins, and performing overall property book/inventory management responsibilities.
Assist in developing enterprise plans governing software sustainment and configuration management ensuring proper version control over software modifications, effective distribution of software waveform products, and implementation of over-arching Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
Account for and strictly manage Government Furnished Information (GFI) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to include maintenance of audit trail documentation (i.e. transfer of ownership, shipments, acquisition, disposals, etc.) and management of such property records in DPAS.
Establish and provide budgetary information for building and defending the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) each fiscal year.
As required, attend and participate in all Program Management Reviews (PMR’s)
As required, travel to customers, stakeholders, prime and sub-contractors locations in support of client NED. Required: Years of experience (min) 8 Required: Degree Bachelors Required: Subject Applicable area of study Required: Skills Windows 2000 or Windows XP Required: Hardware PC Required: Software MS Office Suite Required: Management/Strategy Consulting Skills Experience in DOD logistics and/or acquisition procedures and DoD contracts/projects is a major plus. Must be able to operate Microsoft Office programs with some degree of accuracy. Must be able to operate standard office and calculating equipment (adding machines). Must be able to advise Government PM, senior civilians, senior military officers, senior acquisition team leads, senior contractor and team mates on various logistics issues and procedures. Must be able to take charge and/or chair (if required) logistical meetings. Candidate must hit the ground running and be able to complete tasks with very little guidance from supervisor. Candidate must be willing to be flexible, have good people skills and have excellent oral and written skills. Must be a self started with a can do attitude.
