United Dominion Realty Trust, one of the nation’s largest multifamily REITs, has an opportunity for a talented individual to join its Acquisitions & Dispostions team in our Denver office as an Acquisitions/Disposition Analyst. The new employee will report to the SVP, Acquisitions/Dispositions.Responsibility List:
General Purpose of the Position:To support the acquisitions team in researching, underwriting, modeling, and valuing multi-family investment properties as well as to assist in the disposition process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in abstracting via market research and other means property financial statements, due diligence information, regulatory agreements and other restrictive documents Conducts financial due diligence and analysis to determine economic feasibility of potential acquisitions, including identifying and interpreting inconsistencies in due diligence and property operations Compiles, maintains and analyzes property financial statements Conducts research and interprets market information that can directly impact the value of transactions Assist in facilitating the process for potential acquisitions and dispositions, including dissemination of information to appropriate individuals Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly department reports.

Weekends: NoPrerequisite List:Desired Skills and Abilities: 2-3 years in a Financial role within Real Estate or Accounting Preferred.Experience in underwriting and modeling acquisitionsExperience in the due diligence process in acquisitionsMust have highly developed analytical ability including being able to interpret and analyze informationMust have effective interpersonal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and write proposals, and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the office including be able to effectively work with varying management stylesMust have the ability to meet deadlines by working independently and with a team as well as be able to determine priorities and move projects forward without direct supervision Must have a willingness and ability to take ownership of and accountability for projects/tasks Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and solid proficiency with other Office Suite programs Must have the ability to effectively multi-task and show a high degree of flexibility Must have very high organizational skills and be have major focus on details
