Account Manager--Technology (Test & Measurement)

Electro Rent Corporation (NASDAQ ELRC) is the world's leading technology rental company. We specialize in providing solutions for the temporary testing needs of the telecommunication, aerospace, computer and other electrical/electronic industries. We are currently seeking a self directed individual to fill the role of Account Manager (Outside home based sales person). The person will be responsible for the Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County territory.
REQUIREMENTS
We have an immediate openings for a proven Sales Professional to assume responsibility for both new business development & growth within existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of outside sales experience & familiarity with, Technology (basic test & measurement equipment), Unix environment or similar services. The ability to successfully manage concurrent selling situations, be microcomputer literate, have a BA or equivalent and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. This position requires local area travel up to 50% of the time. Must be able and willing to perform overnight travel that may require air transportation.
