Account Manager, Sales, IT
Role Duties:
The responsibilities of an Account Manager will largely consist of establishing lasting, long term relationships with clients in their local region. They will be required to demonstrate excellent selling, negotiation, communication, and problem solving skills in a fast-paced business environment on a daily basis. A combination of, new account development and account management skills are required for success in this position. An Account Manager will be capable of independently developing and executing a strategic and tactical marketing plan. They will primarily focus on identifying and developing strong business relationships with selected customers and their success will largely be dependent on their ability to support the identification, qualification, and capture of new business opportunities. They will be responsible for maintaining working contact with all hiring managers and appropriate HR personnel, and they will be expected to manage the fulfillment/delivery side (i.e. recruiters) of Blackstone’s Staff Augmentation division effectively and equitably.

REQUIREMENTS
Role Requirements:
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
•2 to 5 years of Technical Sales experience is required.
•A strong work ethic and sense of commitment.
•Bachelors Degree or the equivalent is preferred.
•Effective client closing techniques/skills and the ability to grow both profitable and long term relationships built upon honesty, integrity, and client service.
•Ability to work independently yet function as a team member.
•Ability to understand competitors and articulate Blackstone’s competitive advantage to our existing and prospective clients.
•Ability to focus on activities that will result in revenue generation.
•Identifying potential leads independently (or with others) through networking, cold-calling, trade shows, public speaking, and/or other sources
•Developing relationships with potential clients through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, business networking, telephone calls personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, and/or other business or social gatherings
•Generating client awareness and preference for the company and/or its services which may include developing/sending promotional material, presenting in business forums, charitable activities, business/trade associations, etc
•Recognize and recommend which opportunities Blackstone should pursue in either Consulting or Staff Augmentation services by using criteria such as highest probability of winning, profit potential, etc.
•Support/participate in any oral proposal activities and written proposals needed to win RFP based Staff Augmentation opportunities.
