Account Executive
Compensation:
28K – 30K base plus at-plan commissions of 52K+ first year. Comprehensive benefit plan.

Our client is a leader engineering firm specializing in engineering technical solutions. Their high-tech industry is on the verge of rapid growth, and as a market leader that are in the need of a candidate who wants to be a central part of their team. You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, accept aggressive goals, reflect a positive and disciplined "Can-Do" attitude, and have the confidence to cold call.
Job Description:
The main responsibilities of this position are driving new business revenue through various engineering service and product sales and maintaining existing accounts.
Responsibilities include:
Identify and manage sales opportunities, both new and leveraged through existing clients.
Build and maintain customer relationships via salesforce.com and internal tools.
Achieve assigned revenue/profit targets by selling services, products, and combined technical solutions.
Maintain customer database and status of customer accounts.
Travel up to 50%.
Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate is a smart, driven person with an innate "sales personality" and the ability to learn the technical aspects of our business and industry. The candidate must be able to manage his/her own time and stay on top of multiple current and potential clients.
1-2 years or more of sales or account management experience desired. This includes cold calling, live demos, presentations, large conference sales experience, identifying decision makers, lead generation, qualifying of leads, and customer relationship management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Excellent time management skills are required.
Basic computer skills required (email, internet, MS Office, salesforce.com).
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience is desired.
Bonus attributes (but not required) in a potential candidate are:
Experience selling engineering products and services.
General knowledge of CAD systems and the CAD market.
A basic understanding of a customer's engineering/manufacturing process, CAD systems, and business goals in order to propose technical solutions.
