Account Executive
Founded in 1984, Full Steam Marketing & Design is the largest brand communications agency on the central coast. Servicing clients locally and nationally in a variety of industries, Full Steam offers truly full service marketing, from brand development, to packaging design, to web development, in-store marketing, radio and TV production, corporate videos and more.
We are seeking a STELLAR Account Executive to assure we consistently provide excellent client service and outstanding creative. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Maintains day-to-day client contact, including receiving client input, providing client status and contact reports, preparing estimates/quotes for client approval, keeping clients apprised of job progress, and providing budget information.
Keeps apprised of all relevant client, industry and market developments.
Analyzes client input, together with background knowledge, research, field feedback, etc., to produce full communications plans. Devises communications strategies.
Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency proposals, work and plans to clients. Supports other client service team members in same.
Provides creative, production, media, public relations and interactive department personnel with well-documented input, support data and production materials as required; ensures that advertising strategies are clearly defined, approved by clients, and understood by the creative and media groups.
Coordinates the activities of various agency personnel, such as designers, copywriters, digital media producers, etc., to ensure proper agency service to clients. Ensures technical and product representations are appropriate.
Checks and approves copy, design, and production art, and coordinates client approval of same. Liaises with research personnel and other non-creative freelance resources. Coordinates project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel.
Assists in preparation of client invoices Ensures prompt collection of accounts receivable. Ensures that overall account revenues meet agency goals.
Seeks out new business opportunities with new and existing clients and plays a supportive role in their development.
Represents the agency at industry functions—promotes the agency at every opportunity. Is fully familiar with agency credentials and specialties.
Continuously works to upgrade knowledge and skills through available reading, courses and seminars. Fosters development and gainful employment of junior account service staff where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a marketing/project management environment; agency experience preferred

Expert at multi-tasking and juggling priorities
Profienct in Word and Excel software
Proven experience managing projects, budgets and teams
