ATI Business Development Officer

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Officer, you will assist the Schwab
Institutional Sales team identify and qualify financial advisor
prospects through the following activities:

§ Qualifying prospects via the phone channel and identifying
top leads for our regional Sales teams

§ Assisting 15 SI regional Sales teams with the Sales process

§ Leading prospecting events

§ Supporting SI's presence and identifying leads at industry
trade shows

In addition, you may assist Schwab Institutional program management
with prospecting strategy and event creation/support. We are looking
for a motivated and aggressive sales professional with financial
services experience and knowledge of the industry, especially
wirehouse firms, independent broker-dealers (IBDs) and registered
investment advisors (RIAs).

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self starter; and have
a proven ability to exceed sales goals. Candidates will have a
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work related experience, Series 7 and
63 licenses and a minimum of 3 years of proactive sales experience in
the financial services industry. You will have demonstrated ability
to manage complicated B2B sales situations.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, solid
industry knowledge, comfortable with new relationships and cold
calling opportunities. Must have knowledge of competitor's products,
services, sales tactics and weaknesses, and the delivery model of
large financial services firm.
