The role of the Assistant Manager of Sales is to drive sales, exhibit strong leadership and management of all selling departments including Technology, Furniture, and Print & Document Services. Other duties include that every customer is 100% satisfied, maximize sales by assisting in the development of sales-oriented supervisors and hourly associates, drives the store business plan, select and develop selling skills program for Technology, Print & Document Serrvices, FurnitureMax supervisors and hourly associates, provide technical training of associates in Technology, FurnitureMax, and Print & Document Services including ACE selling skills program and computer based training, ensure throrough training on extended warranties and review results regularly, maintain visual presentation standards, assist in the development of strategic action plans to control shrink and other controllable expenses, assist in managing payroll administration, budgeting and the annual performance review process, analyze P&L statements.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred A minimum of 3-5 years retail management experience A passion for relentlessly driving sales and profit by offering the BEST customer service and a solid track record for recruiting, training, developing, motivating, and leading a diverse team to success. Must have the following: strong leadership and analytical skills, strong organizational and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ablility to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines.
