ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Gannett Pacific Publications Inc., a member of the Gannett Co. Inc. family, the largest newspaper publisher in the US, including USA Today, and proud publisher of The Magazine of Summerlin is seeking energetic outside sales representatives to sell advertising for our savvy health and fitness magazine, Your Health Monthly.

We are seeking a dynamic Advertising Sales Representatives who are experienced in outside sales, entrepreneurial in spirit, and possess a driven desire out sell the rest. We seek true sales professionals who are successful at identifying and developing new prospects. They will be comfortable in the art of cold calling, know what it takes to achieve and exceed sales goals, while continuing to build and maintain successful client relationships. This highly sought after candidates will demonstrate persistence, show proven ability to overcome all obstacles, and strive to achieve professional growth.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will have:
Minimum two years of advertising sales experience.
The ability generate, prioritize and follow-up on leads.
Strong negotiation and decision-making skills in face-to-face exchanges.
Demonstrated ability to clearly interpret customer’s needs to the creative artist by designing an ad campaign including headlines and ad copy.
Strong sales, presentation, math, negotiation and analytical skills.
4 years experience and/or training in a related field.
A valid NV drivers’ license, minimum state liability insurance, and access to a vehicle.
