Develop, implement, and manage sales and marketing activities at existing customers, and targeted prospects within specified target markets. Raise awareness of Sealing Devices products and capabilities with an emphasis on finding new customers.

REQUIREMENTS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify target markets and individual customers and prospects within those markets.
• Prospect targets and develops Engineering and Purchasing contacts within accounts. Prospecting should include web research, cold calls, networking, and direct visits when needed.
• Develop an annual sales plan including a specific calendar for detailing sales calls and marketing activities. Develop an annual sales forecast for assigned accounts.
• Develop presentations for effective promotion within target markets.
• Work with Marketing Manager to develop campaigns promoting Sealing Devices products and capabilities.
• Report on key customer activity on a monthly basis.
• Recommend and attend specific market trade shows.
• Support Territory Managers at select accounts.
• Coordinate pricing activities with Vice President of Sales and Operations, or Inside Sales Manager as appropriate.
• Work with Engineering, Inside Sales, and Customer Service to effectively respond to customer quotations and orders.
• Act as key contact/administrator for key contract/program requirements (jointly with Vice President of Sales & Operations), web-based bid packages.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
This position works independently with general direction. Interacts with all internal groups for successful completion of goals.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires Sales/Marketing experience, technical and analytical skills, presentation, time management and interpersonal strong written and verbal communication.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires the ability to react to customers and markets. Must understand interactions between internal departments relative to customer support.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A 4-year Marketing or Business Administration degree preferred. Experience required. Previous technical sales/marketing of industrial electronics related products preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position has minimal physical requirements.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel required for this position will be approximately 20-25%.
