JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Associate on the Cross-Sell team, you will be part of Marketing’s Acquisition team responsible for cross-selling additional credit card products through multiple marketing channels including direct mail, telemarketing, inbound customer service and the Internet with a focus on delivering a brand-right customer experience to Discover Cardmembers across all customer touchpoints.
The Cross-Sells team seeks unique marketing team member who excels at direct mail creative execution, has a thorough understanding of marketing channels and principles, analyzes results to refine targeting and segmentation to improve results, takes ownership of initiatives, and enjoys working in a strong team dynamic
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day to day processes needed to support monthly direct mail campaigns including creative execution, copy approval, pricing & monthly expense management.
Provide campaign results for strategy and offer testing and assist in decision making for monthly messaging, pricing & product determination.
Work with internal business partners to ensure data accuracy and process improvements.
Recommend creative tests based on competitive research and results to achieve short-term and long-term business goals including account volume and profitability.
Work with the Portfolio, Customer Service, and Risk to ensure that the customer experience is consistent and meets customer needs.
Act as liaison with business partners including Legal, Production, Customer Service, Analytics & Telemarketing.
SKILLS
Bachelor degree in Marketing or a related field.
Strong project management, communication (both oral & written) & organizational skills
3+ years of experience managing direct mail campaigns or related responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work alone and follow through with internal business partners & outside agencies.
PC competency (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Acquisition marketing and Direct Mail/Advertising agency experience a plus.DESIRED SKILLS:
MBA, Preferred
