Description:
This postion requires a willingness to take initiative and be a critical member of a fast-moving team focused on innovation in topical delivery of siRNA in San Francisco. Successful candidate will work with cutting-edge science focused on novel topical therapeutics. This person will be manage independent projects while working in a matrix environment. Will work with chemists as well as pharmacologists to enable and evolve topical delivery of nucleic acids. This is a unique opportunity for a creative independent scientist to impact the future of therapuetic dermatology.
Job Requirements Job Requirements:
PhD topical formulation scientist with 2+ yrs skin delivery experience. Qualified candidate will be a very focused individual with (2+ yrs) pharmaceutical industry experience in projects related to therapeutic treatment of skin disease. A broad range of experience in epidermal/follicular routes of delivery and detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of skin delivery and chemistry of topical formulation composition is desired.

Experience with in vivo models of skin disease is essential. Additionally, preferred candidates should have experience with skin diffusion chamber assays (Franz or Bronaugh chambers), skin delivery technical innovation (iontophoresis, occlusive bandages), liposome preparation and analysis, as well as experience with delivery of macromolecules. Very helpful to have some management experience, with direct reports as well with outside CROs.Company Overview
