Memphis, TennesseeThis position is responsible for technical marketing responsibilities related to spinal biologic products. These responsibilities include devising and managing technology-based marketing, education, and sales support programs to achieve objectives within the spinal biological product lines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Establishes, directs, and coordinates technical marketing activities for spinal biologic products.
Serves as technical advisor on all matters concerned with marketing designated products.
Directs interpretation and communication of related preclinical and clinical data for biologic products including presentations, publications, marketing/sales support materials and medical education/training programs.
Assists Research and Regulatory & Clinical Affairs in study designs and prioritization to ensure proper alignment with the company’s marketing goals and strategies
Collaborates with researchers and surgeon investigators in coordinating pre-clinical and clinical evaluations.
Serves as consultant to management in company’s strategic planning related to new or projected areas of technological research and advancements within the biological product area. Serves as spokesperson on company’s technical capabilities.Anticipates evolving technology-related biologic market trends.
Identifies new market opportunities within assigned areas.
Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness. Applies and/or develops highly advanced technical technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts.
Routinely interfaces with the managers/directors of other product lines offered by the Company, and in the course of performing his/her duties, receives both public and confidential information regarding the Company’s full line of spine surgery products to enable him/her to understand the relationship between the products for which he/she has responsibility and other spine surgery products in the Company’s portfolio.
