Synthetic/Medicinal Chemist

BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting talented professionals for San Diego's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Synthetic/Medicinal Chemist to work for an innovative San Diego pharmaceutical company.

The successful candidate will design and synthesize biologically interesting molecules in support of hit to lead and lead optimization projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Key requirements include a Ph.D. in synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry plus 2 to 8 years of additional synthetic or medicinal chemistry experience. Expertise in multi-step organic synthesis is essential; including modern methods of compound characterization, thorough record-keeping practices, and excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential. Medicinal chemistry experience in an industrial environment, ideally including parallel/small library synthesis, is a plus.
