Our Baltimore Facility located in the Holabird Business Park in Dundalk area of Baltimore County) currently has several Biostatistician openings.
Description
The Biostatistician acts as the lead statistician on projects of moderate to large size and complexity and/or supports the lead statistician on very large, complex projects. Biostatisticians will assist in writing statistical reports and aid in the development of protocols.
Roles and responsibilities include the following:
Design and analysis of clinical trials.
Serve as statistical liaison with CROs and sites.
Participate in the study design of protocols, prepare and review protocols, and write the statistical analysis methods of protocols and analysis plan.
Prepare key sections of clinical study reports and various regulatory documents.
In collaboration with clinical programmer analysts, design and review CRF and data validation directives for a clean and accurate database.
Evaluate and test statistical software and maintain good programming skills as applied to the data manipulation and statistical analysis for clinical trials.
Create derived datasets, display, summarize, analyze the data for clinical trials and QC the results.
Keep up to date knowledge of statistical methodologies applicable to work for clinical trials.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
M.S. Degree.
Minimum of 3 years industry experience in SAS programming, GEE and GLM statistical modeling.
Effective time management by prioritizing workload.
Excellent organizational skills.
Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate, cooperate and collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, groups, and terms.
