For more information about PAREXEL International, visit our website at www.parexel.com.Within the organization, this individual will play a vital role in maintaining relationships with clinical investigators and site staffs interested in participating in clinical trials being managed by PAREXEL. Through interim contact with physicians and their study staffs, the Site Selection Specialist will aid in the selection process of qualified research professionals who will collaborate on clinical trials overseen by the company. This person will be identified within the company as the resource for information regarding investigators' qualifications and previous experience, clinical sites' capabilities and past performance, and enrollment and budgetary data concerning prior and future clinical investigations.
Electronic profiles of all physicians and clinical sites with which PAREXEL has previously worked as well as those who are interested in working with the company in the future will be maintained. Document files which contain but are not limited to site literature and investigator's CVs will be maintained and kept current by this individual. The Site Selection Specialist will generate reports and listings upon requests and aggregate all Site Selection activities for Senior Management, CRG and PDG minimally quarterly.
REQUIREMENTS Education: BS in relevant field (or equivalent)
Skills: Strong working knowledge of clinical trials and investigator/site selection; strong computer skills including database management; strong organizational skills; sense of independence, urgency and initiative; excellent communication and presentation skills.
