Senior Study Coordinator

This position is with Safety and Risk Management, within the Epidemiology subdivision. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
(1) Coordinating study specific tasks associated with epidemiologic studies (i.e., post-marketing commitments, observational studies, registries) interfacing with internal regulatory, finance, legal, safety, medical team, case processing colleagues, local country offices, and clinical research organizations, as needed;(2) Scheduling and coordinate study teleconferences;(3) Coordinating a range of study activities from study-start-up to close-out, focusing on study oversight with specific attention to detail;(4) Tracking consultant contracts/ invoices and providing financial progress updates to project manager, where appropriate;(5) Coordinating communication with study collaborators for ongoing epidemiologic studies; and(6) Supporting study data management and analyses activities, where appropriate.


Requirements:

At a minimum, bachelor's degree in biological or natural sciences, nursing, or pharmacy. At least two years working within the pharmaceutical or related industry (clinical development/ safety). Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multifaceted project(s). Demonstrated initiative and strong interpersonal skills, especially strong communication skills (written and oral) are a must. Ability to interface with a variety of internal and external customers from business operations to medical investigators. Global experience with clinical research, and basic business/ technical skills a plus.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer
