SAIC Frederick, Inc., the operations and technical support contractor to the National Cancer Institute-Frederick, has a career opportunity for a cellular immunologist, to work in our AIDS Vaccine Program. You will serve as a key member of a dynamic, interactive, multidisciplinary research team working on AIDS pathogenesis and development of vaccines for prevention of HIV infection and AIDS, working in human and non-human primate systems.

REQUIREMENTS
Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university appropriate to biomedical research. Five years of competent, innovative research beyond doctoral training in a related field of specialty. Expertise in multiparameter flow cytometry, including intracellular cytokine staining and fluorescence activated cell sorting, experience with cellular immune assays including lymphoproliferation, classical cytotoxicity, etc.Prior experience with evaluation of vaccine and infection induced antiviral immune responses as well as prior experience working with HIV and /or SIV, and/or in characterization of immune responses in non-human primates STRONGLY preferred. Prior experience working with dendritic cells and in the generation and characterization of antigen specific T cell clones; strong computer, database, and organizational skills as well as prior supervisory experience preferred. Experience publishing manuscripts, especially as first author in field of expertise preferred.
