Candidate will assist reagent product development team with: 1. Development effort on master mix for genotyping application. 2. Testing of enzyme characteristics/performance, both alone and in master mix.
Assist master mix Development team with test activities. Work in a development team of 2-3 people - Perform TaqMan based PCR experiments in a high throughput setting - Some troubleshooting work might be required - Communicate experimental findings with team
Applied Biosystems 7900 Real-Time PCR System Standard mol bio bench equipment
AB Instrument System software MicroSoft Excel, PowerPoint

College level general chemistry and biology with basic knowledge of PCR - Some knowledge of EXCEL POWERPOINT - Good communication skill and be able to report experimental findings accurately - Basic lab techniques such as using single or multichannel pipettes, vortexer, centrifuge, etc - Knowledge of TaqMan chemistry or SDS instruments is preferred but not required - Some repetitive work is required
