Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Life Spine is a high growth medical device manufacturer and direct marketer of orthopedics & neurosurgical spine products. With proprietary product technologies, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Marketing Coordinator to cultivate the company’s spinal implant offering.
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in the execution of marketing activities through tactical support and hands-on coordination of internal projects and external resources.
This position reports to the President & CEO and will offer the motivated candidate an exceptional opportunity for advancement.COLLATERAL/PROJECTS:
Assist in developing marketing activities for awareness and lead capture to increase new agents and maintain collateral inventory. Includes identifying and targeting prospects, drafting ideas and content, coordinating projects and working with vendors. (brochures/collateral, kits, ads, direct mailings, etc.)PR/INQUIRIES:
Participation in PR meetings and recommend activities that promote awareness of company, products or services for targets.CONFERENCES/MEDICAL MEETINGS:Identify and organize conferences and medical meetings, including preparation and onsite requirements for exhibiting and speaking opportunities, exhibit booth, vendor coordination and ordering, logistics, draft planning documents. Meeting attendance is also expected.SALES AGENT TRAININGS:
Handle logistics for agent trainings, including preparing materials, hotel/site arrangements, equipment, scheduling and shipping. Work with marketing and sales to execute.ADVERTISING:
Provide input for national advertising opportunities, including investigation of opportunities as needed, reviewing and drafting concepts.SALES SUPPORT:
Interface with sales and client services. Act as sales contact point for marketing requests, information, inventory requests and trainings.MARKETING MATERIALS:Provide input as needed for presentation materials. Review and update content on product manuals, user guides and help files that support our therapy programs for use by patients and clinics. Interface with product development team.MARKETING INVENTORY:
Weekly tracking of marketing inventory and handling routine fulfillment for materials, promotional items, etc. for mailings, events or individual requests. Order materials as needed for fulfillment or printing.DATABASE/REPORTING:
Use the in-house MRP database to create/update campaigns and lead source codes, tracking leads, import/export leads.
MARKETING RESEARCH/PLANNING:
Assist in market research or planning projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Marketing Coordinator Requirements:Must have 3+ years of experience in a fast paced sales support position.Ability to multi-task a variety of responsibilities, function under deadlines/time constraints and pressures, and maintain positive working relationships.Ability to process and track a high volume of information and assignments. Follow-through skills and strong attention to detail a must!EXPERT skill levels in PowerPoint, Word and ExcelSome competency with website, advertising, graphic designEditing/copy writing ads, Inter/Intranet content, and various marketing literature
Newsletters, program management, internal program concepts, and website development
Must be able to work independently, have excellent oral & written communication skillsMust be highly organized and able to prioritize with minimal supervision
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility
Good creative sense with an understanding of relationship between marketing activities, generating leads, product knowledge and business growth needs; ability to communicate ideas to marketing and other operations teams in order to produce initiatives
Ability and willingness to work over-time (after 5:00p.m.) as dictated by business needs
