Safety Epidemiologist, Global Drug Safety

Purpose:
- To lead and manage pharmaco- epidemiologic strategy and support to the overall R&D therapeutic area strategy Global in order to assist company in evaluation of the research portfolio

- To improve design of clinical research programs, anticipate and study clinical safety issues pre-and-post-approval, and expand market awareness to improve the commercialization of company's products

Responsible for:
- Owning and executing a pharmaco-epidemiological program for the company and competitor products

- Managing and assisting Lead product safety MDs and company staff in managing safety concerns
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Role Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or doctoral degree in epidemiology

- MD/PhD combination preferred.

Experience:
- 8 years relevant experience, including training

- 4 years industry experience

- Drug safety experience preferred

- Strong publication track record preferred Knowledge

- Product development

- Analytic methodologies

- Depth regarding disease natural history
