Noveon, a subsidiary of The Lubrizol Corporation, has an immediate need for highly motivated, team-oriented individuals in its Personal Care & Pharmaceuticals business. We are looking for an innovative Sr. Chemist as well as a group leader for the HI&I (Household, Industrial and Institutional) group located in Brecksville, Ohio.

These positions will focus primarily on supporting technical service and applications relating to HI&I business opportunities. They will demonstrate formulation, new product application development and assessment of polymer technology used in a variety of HI&I applications ensuring physical stability, efficacy, consumer appeal, processing capabilities and cost effectiveness. They provide technical support to sales, marketing and customers through application development efforts, customer directed research projects and problem solving. Anticipating and understanding customer needs, expectations and market trends is critical.

The highly motivated, self-starters we seek will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with five years of industrial formulating experience. Must be able to generate new and creative approaches to new product development and problem solving. Must possess excellent data analysis, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills as well as the ability to supervise others is also required.
