Sr. Accountant – SEC Financial Reporting Analyst

Orthovita, Inc., located in Malvern, PA, is a leading biomaterials company with proprietary technologies for the development and commercialization of synthetic, biologically active, tissue engineering products for orthopedic and neurosurgical applications.

We have an excellent opportunity to join our growing company. We have an immediate opening for an Accountant with experience in Financial Reporting. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures for SEC reporting. Assist with 10-K, 10-Q and the preparation of annual Proxy Statement to shareholders. Ensure all financial reporting complies with the company’s regulations and professional standards. You will also assist in the implementation of new SEC or GAAP reporting requirements on a worldwide basis.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a Bachelors Degree (B.A.) in Accounting with five years experience in financial reporting.

MUST HAVE FINANCIAL REPORTING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION!

CPA preferred. Must be familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley. Great Plains experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required as well as knowledge of MS Office Products.
