This client company is focused on high complex molecular diagnostics, the most profitable and most rapidly growing segment of the in-vitro diagnostic market. Company is pioneering the first automated fully integrated assay delivery systems for high complexity nucleic acid and protein testing with applications in medical diagnostics, drug development and biomedical research. Senior management with prominent and diverse industry experience has positioned the company to expand sales force to the national level. This position represents an excellent ground floor opportunity with plenty of upside potential.
JOB DESCRIPTION:The Regional Account Executive will be responsible for the sales of molecular diagnostic products to blood bank centers, transplant medical centers, leading medical institutions and public health testing centers.Products sold involve digital imaging system with microscopes and micro array bead chip technology. This conceptual selling process includes developing account specific strategies, determining customer needs, conducting product demonstrations, building consensus support with multiple key decision makers and creating customer commitment to adopt this new technology.This position will cover the state of Florida geographical territory that will require travel in the range of 50% to 70%.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Position offers competitive salary, uncapped bonus opportunity, car and expense allowance, insurances, and 401K plan.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of documented sales experience selling in the healthcare/diagnostic industry.Ideal candidate will have demonstrated multiple years of exceeding sales objectives with preferred focus in stand alone BLOOD DONOR CENTERS, public health, transplant, genetic and research centers.Experience selling diagnostic capital equipment and reagents is an ideal fit for this opportunity.
A self-starter, hunter-type with engaging people skills is desired. Excellent group presentations skills are a must. Basic computer skills required.
Academic preparation should be a four-year college degree, preferably in the life sciences or related areas with molecular diagnostic technical knowledge.If this sounds like the career opportunity you have been looking for:
