R & D Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Manages R&D staff and new product development.
·Prioritizes and coordinates lab projects in order to facilitate completion
and meet department and corporate goals.
·Supervises, trains and develops staff to enhance quality and quantity of work.
·Develops lab processes to improve development cycle.
·Interfaces with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and QC for new products
and projects along with customers.
·Researches, selects and purchases necessary equipment and supplies to perform
required testing.
·Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
·B.S. in chemistry or related science
·7+ yrs experience as R&D formulator in cosmetic manufacturer
·2+ yrs supervisory experience
·Must have strong computer and communication skill
·Requires comprehensive knowledge of formulation, scale-up process, ingredient analysis, OTC regulation, and stability & performance testing.
