Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician

Responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in achieving compliance with all Federal and State laws, regulations and other accrediting agency requirements in the collection, processing, preparation, and distribution of biopharmaceutical products manufactured in the Center for Biomedicine and Genetics (CBG).
-Assists with distribution, tracking and archiving of clinical materials.
-Provides validation support for all equipment, processes, and approves all outcomes, which are essential to the production of biotechnical products.This includes the documentation of processes and maintenance of records.
-Assists with audits,inspections, and staff in-service training as necessary. Responsible for operation of facility monitoring systems.
-Performs duties to inspect and analyze samples of products, raw material, in process, stability and validation samples to ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
-Experience following all SOPs, cGMP and lab safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: A.S. In Life Sciences or Chemical Laboratory

Minimum Experience: 1-2 yrs biological or chemical laboratory experience, QA experience
or other relevant industry experience.

Preferred Experience: Experience in biologics manufacturing environment or wet Chemistry desirable.

Preferred Courses/Training: Basic Biology (Molecular and Cellular, Organismic) Chemistry (Inorganic,
Organic and Biochemistry) Biosafety courses, chemical safety, cGMP principles and practice.

Preferred field of expertise: Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry experience.
