Project Manager-Pharmaceutical R&D

Major pharmaceutical company is seeking a high energy Project Manager to manage the R&D process from preclinical research phase through development to transfer to manufacturing for various drug products. Extensive liaison with R&D and downstream departments is required (preformulation, analytical R&D, DMPK, pharmaceutics, process scale up, QA, QC, RA), so excellent communication skills are needed. The ability to help develop an R&D plan, ensure milestones are met, and ensure compliance with quality and appropriate documentation standards. This is a high visibility position reporting to the Executive Director R&D, and supporting three departmental directors (DMPK, pharmaceutics, analytical R&D). Promotional opportunities are excellent.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. or M.S. in a scientific discipline is preferred, along with several years of experience in pharmaceutical industry R&D laboratories. A solid understanding of the drug development process and FDA/ICH compliance requirements.
