Project Manager - Patient & Investigator Recruitment

Our client is the leading provider of clinical trial patient and investigator recruitment solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry. The company is growing quite quickly with many new business ventures underway. There is a strong opportunity to wear a lot of hats in a highly visible role in this smaller-company environment.
Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for management of patient and investigator recruitment projects for specific clinical studies. This position ought to be especially attractive to anyone coming from the CRO space who would like to reduce their travel rate.
Job Responsibilities:
Facilitates implementation meetings of protocol specific recruitment strategies for research sites.
Acts as primary point of contact with customer and CRO.
Facilitates the creation of patient recruitment materials that are ready for sign off by the VP of Operations and the customer and/or IRB, including pre-screening questionnaire, patient/investigator outreach materials, and site collateral.
Develops and maintains project documents and correspondence.
Reviews training programs for outside vendors.
Supports call center and online screener, including working closely with call center project personnel and (company) IT team.
Interacts regularly with site support coordinator and associate.
Oversees IRB approval processes for all patient recruitment materials on a site-by-site basis.
Oversees patient referrals and enrollments on a site-by-site basis.
Documents all customer interaction.
Provides weekly reporting on program results
Provides customer training on Recruitment Manager
Ensures that data presented to customer through Recruitment Manager and weekly reporting is accurate and understood, and presented in timely fashion.
Coordinates study initiation, assists in the development and provision of training and related forums.
Monitors and coordinates the efforts of the internal and external project teams.
Meets with team members regularly regarding their project tasks to ensure that project/program milestones are met.
Analyzes recruitment reports from call centers and sites.
Monitors site enrollment.
Provides feedback to Director, Direct Response Solutions/Manager of Data Analysis in maintaining effective levels of recruitment activities for each site.
Participates in all internal meetings and where appropriate, external customer meetings.
Assists in the development of customer support strategies.
Maintains expert awareness of available database and Internet resources.
Develops project specific customer presentations.
Provide outcomes of recruitment and retention activities.
Writes project final report.
Ensures customer completion of post-project survey
Thinks creatively, problem solves and trouble-shoots.
Becomes knowledgeable of industry competitors.
Defines and maintain project timelines
Determines and manages the project budget
Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree strongly preferred, but not required.
Minimum of three to four years of experience in clinical research.
Experience working within a CRO highly preferred
Knowledge base of clinical research, methodology, protocol and study design, and IRB approval process, strongly preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with FDA, ICH, and GCP guidelines.
Experience in patient recruitment and retention process, preferred but not required.
A history of attention to detail, self-motivation and strong computer skills (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Ability to work individually or within a team in whatever capacity may be required to insure timely delivery of timeline assignments and/or resolution to current issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multi-faceted projects.
Ability to multi-task.
Salary: $80,000+ (dependent on experience)
