Project Manager - Healthcare

Working in our Mountain Healthcare Sales Region, based out of Denver, CO and under the general direction of the National Director, Project Operations, the Project Manager - Healthcare is involved in all aspects of surgical workplace projects from quotation to installation. The Project Manager will develop project timelines, assemble required project teams, visit construction sites and maintain effective communication throughout the project. The Project Manager is accountable for the successful execution of the project with the understanding that defect-free completion of each project is shared by sales, project management, demand planning and installation teams.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to: reviewing quotations with sales force for technical accuracy and configuration planning; visit project sites and provide site specs and requirements; facilitate design drawing review, approval, and sign-off; monitor production schedule with demand planners to ensure final shipment dates and on time project completion; work closely with Installation Branch Managers to arrange pre-installation site inspections; conduct pre-installation meetings with Sales and Installation teams; provide additional coordination with on-site contractors, as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
A BS degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
1. 5+ years business experience including decision making,
managing or supervising, with a minimum of 2 years
project management experience, preferably in the
healthcare facility construction industry.
2.Computer literacy; familiarity with information
technology concepts, personal computers, MS Windows and
MS Office application.
3.Must be able to interpret and manipulate data from
computer generated reports, software programs, written
correspondance, architectual plans and drawings,
piping/instrumentation drawings, elecrical schematics,
utility demands, and functional specifications.
4.Must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally
and in writing, in a professional manner.
5. Must travel as required to customer sites throughout
the assigned region (60-70% annual travel, valid
driver's license is required).
