Project Coordinator
Position Summary:
Responsible for cross-functional and larger team projects managed and/or coordinated by the manufacturing department. Manage projects within the established scope and schedule while meeting or surpassing BioForm standards of quality. Coordinate the efforts of the individual, team, and other resources associated with project activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and apply project plans and schedules with milestones that represent the appropriate level of detail and task interdependency.
Estimate resource requirements across all disciplines to complete planned activities and/or work with project team in establishing tasks to meet project timeline. Determine ways to streamline project development process where possible.
Coordinate tasks of the individual, team and other resources associated with assigned projects. Support project team members and other BioForm employees to ensure the success of all projects and realize synergistic benefits.
Produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications of all projects in various stages of completion.
Lead, guide, and/or otherwise support regularly scheduled project meetings with appropriate teams and/or attend department meetings in order to improve and or develop defined project initiatives.
Coordinate larger scale projects involving the Manufacturing and Quality departments including those tasks assigned from larger scale projects in other areas.
Perform or lead those project tasks assigned to the Manufacturing Engineering area and/or those not otherwise assigned. Assist others with their tasks when needed to assure timely completion.
Education and/or Experience (years):
Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years project management experience in medical device/product development field is desirable.
Degree in engineering, business, or other discipline with strong project management experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, attention-to-detail, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to motivate others, along with proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of QAD ERP system and computerized label printing a plus.
Understanding/knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 13485 and/or other Quality System Standards is a plus.
