PROJECT CHEMIST

Growing advanced technology small business seeks analytical chemist to join our technology development team. This individual will assist in the design, fabrication, repair, operation, and evaluation of instrumentation for sensing trace gases in the atmosphere and for monitoring source concentrations of gases from utility and industrial processes. The position requires travel, a willingness to work outdoors, and the ability to lift 75 pounds.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
•Solid knowledge of analytical and instrumental chemistry
•Strong practical and hands-on skills with optical systems and/or chemical analyzers
•Experience in quality assurance/quality control
•Strong computer and data analysis skills
•Versatile individual willing to work independently on projects that range from instrument design to field monitoring and evaluation
•BS degree in Chemistry and 1-3 years related experience
