Description Process / Production/ Manufacturing Engineer Product/ Process / Production/ Manufacturing Engineer $70,000 - $90,000 Fortune 500, pharmaceuticals manufacturing client with robust new products pipeline, seeks a Process (Process Improvements)/ Production Engineer for its Indianapolis area facility. This is a new position (staff addition) in a workplace with a growing employee population. Paid relocation. World-class benefits. Outstanding compensation package. Requirements: B.S. degree in Engineering Work experience in automated production facility (pharmaceutical / FDA industry preferred). Other qualifications include: Thorough knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP); Demonstrated commitment to achieving objectives in manner supportive of Corporate values and leader behaviors; Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and analytical and decision-making skills; strong attention to detail. Description: Under direction of selected product line Director, Process/ Production Engineer will be responsible for, or assist with, the following: - Work with product line Director and other team members in providing technical assistance to Production Operations; - Acquire technical knowledge relevant to the operation; - Assist with development and implementation of technical Best Practices; - Lead/assist with Continuous Improvement initiatives; - Participate in identification, investigation, and correction of process-related problems; - Analyze process/ equipment deviations from standards and initiate actions; - Develop and implement strategies to avoid recurrent problems; - Participate in implementation of new technologies, equipment, and processes; - Perform technical problem solving; Assist the plant training resources in development of training programs relevant to the operation; - Prepare change controls and Quality Assurance Investigations; - Write departmental operating procedure; - Contribute to the "product" Total Safety culture (including ensuring overall safety of applicable production areas, addressing department safety issues and reinforcing use of proper safety equipment in concert with plant safety policies/procedures; - Supervise employees as required, and perform other related duties as assigned.
