Process Development Scientist / Engineer

Required experience includes hands-on bench scale/macro-bench scale laboratory/pilot plant-scale development of purification processes. Work in a supporting function to provide scientific and technical assistance in order to evaluate, develop, and scale-up plasma derived proteins or recombinant factors. Activities are centered on unit operations such as filtration, ultrafiltration, diafiltration, nanofiltration, chromatography, lyophilization, and process trouble shooting.This is a long-term contract position for a large Pharmaceutical company with 9 paid holidays every year and 40 hours of vacation time during the 1st year and 80 hours each year after that! REQUIREMENTS
BS with relevant experience in one of the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, etc., plus a minimum of 2 years of production and/or engineering experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Requires a good understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations. Requires good technical writing skills. Please bring an example of previous project or final report to interview.
