Principal Scientist

Chief Hydrogeologist for the Southeast Region Technical Center. Individual should have 15 plus years of experience in geology, hydrogeology, environmental investigation and remediation. Experience in working with federal and state regulators; regulations including RCRA, CERCLA, state programs; development of conceptual site models; application of innovative investigative methods and in-situ remediation techniques. Experience with groundwater flow/fate and transport modeling a plus. Responsibilities include: regional technical leadership, consulting, and client interaction; development of GRiP proposals based on hydrogeological evaluation and subsequent technical oversight; coordination with Corporate Environmental staff on GRiP projects; teaming with professionals from other disciplines to develop and implement multi-discipline solutions; senior technical review of deliverables including professional certifications where appropriate; mentoring and training of project to entry level staff; and assistance with business development.
REQUIREMENTS
Desired years experience: 15+
Discipline/Education preferred/required: BS in Geology/Hydrogeology (MS a plus)
Registration required: PG required, prefer multiple states (GA, TN, FL, AL, NC, SC); VA a plus
