Orthopedic/Surgical Sales

A fast- growing start-up player in the high-tech world of Sports Medicine/ Orthopedic devices is seeking a highly successful and EXPERIENCED, sales pro to sell a cutting-edge product to orthopedic surgeons, in a NYC/NNJ territory .The products are among the hottest in the entire orthopedic/sports medicine industry, and the candidate must be a Change Agent to be hired.
The position requires the Account Executive to identify the Leaders among the Orthopedic Surgeons, and sell them an innovative solution for minimally invasive orthopedic sports medicine procedures.
The territory includes major teaching hospitals found in New York City's 5 boroughs, and Northern New Jersey.The compensation plan includes a base salary up to $75,000, plus commissions, expenses , and benefits. Target commissions are $75,000, but there is NO cap. Commissions are guaranteed for the first three months. Incentive stock options in this up and coming firm are also offered.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, and a minimum of three (3) years of successful documented sales experience in the Orthopedic market.
(The degree requirement may be waived in lieu of substantially more (5-7) years of surgical orthopedic experience.
Personal relationships with the area's leading Orthopedic and Sports Medicine physicians will be highly valued in the interview process.
Significant Operating Room / surgical sales experience is MANDATORY. Prior experience working in a start-up environment is highly desirable.
