Microbiologist

This position requires someone with good laboratory skills common to a microbiology lab, as well as a broad understanding of industrial and/or clinical microbiology, and FDA cGMP requirements.Technical skills should include working knowledge of:
* Aseptic Technique
* Media Preparation
* Bacterial, yeast and mold enumeration
* ID of unknowns
* Cell Culture
* Plate Counting
* Isolation of Specific Organisms
Understanding of one or more of the following compendia:
* USP/NF
* AOAC
* CTFA
* FDA-BAM
REQUIREMENTS
* Associates Degree preferred for this entry level position.
* Detail oriented with problem solving skills
* Be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
* Working closely with others in a team environment
* Friendly personality with outstanding customer service skills
* Great communication skills* 1-2 years lab experience in Microbiology and/or related field.
