Mechanical Inspector/ Machinist 2ND SHIFT

MECHANICAL INSPECTOR/MACHINIST is needed for our client, a world leader in preeminent medical products and services in thier advanced operations, Business and Process Development Department.
2ND SHIFT 3:30pm-12am.The primary role of this position will be to assist the project engineers to develop production process solutions to challenging product designs and new technologies.Responsibilties:
•Prepare test protocols, perform testing and record data for new process and technology development
•Perform manual machining, CNC programming and other manufacturing operations as required
•Operate and utilize various inspection methods and equipment
•Assist engineers and/or work independently with process development and qualification validation
•Assist with the transfer of products, processes and technology from development to production
REQUIREMENTS
This individual must be:Requirements:
•2+ years experience in a technical or laboratory environment
•Machining experience required
•CNC / machine programming experience beneficial
•CAD experience and drawing knowledge beneficial
•Ability to use all standard inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gages, comparator)
•Mechanical testing knowledge an advantage
•Good written and communication skills
•Computer skills – Word, Excel etc
