Mechanical Engineer

Will perform duties as assigned to him by the Director of Engineering or Designee in support of all aspects of the Engineering Department, including but not limited to Project Management of engineering projects, product development, ongoing production, quality assurance and regulatory affairs.Other duties may be assigned: Test method development, Statistical analysis of engineering data. Authoring Engineering Specifications, Perform risk management activities. Participate in tooling and process validations. Perform product qualifications. Validations, and clinical study support. Asset identification and Creation of engineering documents to support engineering activities. Liaisons between Engineering and Sales/ Marketing Group.


Requirements:

Minimum 3 years medical device experience, 1-3 years project engineering experience.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred, from four-year college or university plus three or more years related experience and/or training that includes working in the medical products (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
