Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities for this position would include:
Label and package product components
Aliquots of chitosan and glacial acetic acid
Operator maintenance of equipment and work areas
Equipment inspection, cleaning, and documentation
Supply verification and restocking
General lab cleaning
SOP and report generation as required
Assistance with documentation maintenance as directed.
Clean room maintenance
Other duties as directed by supervisor

Requirements
Prefer a two to four-year college degree in the sciences (biology, chemistry, and/or physics or comparable degree). OR 2 years experience in medical device manufacturing and proven ability to work with FDA and ISO regulations.
Knowledge of general laboratory practices
Must be detail oriented and precise
Good hand-eye coordination
Mechanical skill and aptitude as it relates to handling and operation of equipment
The ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and detail
Ability to fill out paperwork correctly and completely (times, initials, deviations)
Good writing/documentation skills
Ability to make scientific measurements and conversions
Ability to perform tasks according to SOPs and QS Regulations
Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals and materials
Must know how to use laboratory equipment safely and correctly
Multitasking skills
