Job Description

Our Manufacturing Specialists are responsible for providing support for the purification of manufactured products. Responsibilities include the operation of production equipment, the weighing, measuring, and checking of raw materials to assure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities, and the maintenance of records and clean room environments to comply with regulatory requirements, GMPs and SOPs. Responsibilities may also include scale-up and troubleshooting for equipment and resolution of technical issues as well as maintenance of production equipment.



Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Provide support for cGMP product purification activities

Take part in all phases of bulk manufacturing, including suite preparation, set-up, validation, operation, light maintenance on process equipment, cleaning and process changeover

Participate in ongoing development and writing of Standard Operating Procedures

Provide technical expertise to improve manufacturing processes.

Troubleshoot process problems, bringing unusual problems to the attention of the supervisor.

May attend research meetings related to the transfer process of new products. REQUIREMENTS



Job Qualifications

Bachelor degree with a minimum 2 years of industrial experience in large-scale fermentation, cell culture and/or purification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have a good working knowledge of purification processes.

Will be required to work flexible schedules (shift work) and holidays as needed.

Must be computer literate (Word, Excel).

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and to work on ladders.
