Job Title: Manager of Finance

Job Description:

Summary: This is a manager level finance position reporting to the Director of Finance.

This position will not have any other reports to supervise.

Assists Director of Finance in managing the Company’s General Finance functions. Manages the analysis of financial statements, preparation of budgets, pro-forma analysis, and other financial information.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for keeping Sr. Management informed of financial performance and compliance with established Accounting principles and procedures. Oversees analysis of financial statements. Compares performance with operating plans and interprets the results of operations.
• Reviews journal entries to general and subsidiary ledgers and monthly reconciliations of various general ledger accounts as a part of the overall review of the monthly financial statements.
• Monitors cash flow and manages utilization of available funds to best meet company’s needs and minimize interest expense.
• Interfaces with other departments within the company to ensure the timely and accurate flow of financial data.
• Assists with work paper preparation for quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Assists with creation of budgets and forecasts. Assists department’s in the review of budget to actual performance.
• Assists with finance related special projects such as departmental scorecards, productivity metrics, and assessment of new business opportunities.
• Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and statements.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate Must Have:

• BS in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of finance experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Some management level experience.
• Excellent communication, Team, People and Computer skills.

Candidate Nice to Have:

• Graduate degree in finance or accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst a plus
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industries.
• Experience in 3rd party distribution company maintaining a client type relationship with the drug manufacturer.

Location:Memphis,TN Relocation:NO Overnight Travel:20%

Compensation: Salary of $65K - $75K + 10% Bonus + stock Options.
