We are looking for a Manager of Statistical Programming to join our team in our San Diego CA office.





Managers of Statistical Programming at i3 Statprobe supervise, coordinate, and perform (as needed) statistical programming. Proactively identify and address potential issues that impact efficient completion of work or quality of work, track the status of projects within statistical programming and communicate the status to stakeholders. Ensure client specific standards and statistical programming processes are performed in an effective, efficient manner. Supervisor will work with internal and external project teams to assure client-reporting needs are understood, provide secondary reviews of client deliverables, and assist with the development of statistical programming staff.











Primary Responsibilities:












Assists in planning and scheduling statistical programming project activities and resources






Supervises and trains statistical programming staff






Oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of adherence to departmental standard operating procedures






Performs statistical programming for assigned clients as needed (this includes programming listings, summaries, graphs, provide secondary review of others output, and creation and maintenance of necessary documentation)






Reviews requirements document, makes appropriate comments, sign-off on necessary checklists or forms per SOP






Provides project progress information for status reports






Determines if output quality meets standards and direct implementation of remedial measures if needed






Communicate with client contacts regarding projects



























































































































































Job Requirements:

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or statistics is required. A master's degree is preferred.











Experience: At least 5 years programming experience and 2 or more years of leadership experience is required. Knowledge of SAS and one other 3^rd or 4th generation language is preferred. Exposure to pharmaceutical /biotechnology/device industry is required.
