Manager, Oncology Sales Training

Backed by a world-class R&D organization, sanofi-aventis is developing leading positions in seven therapeutic areas: cardiovascular disease, thrombosis, oncology, diabetes, central nervous system, internal medicine, and vaccines.Embrace this opportunity to join a diverse and talented group of individuals championed to take on innovation and change in our rapidly expanding organization.Manages the Sales Training curriculum relative to Oncology products; delivers training to participating Professionals and/or Field Managers relative to Oncology products as required; actively participates in all phases of designing and implementing curricula; partners with other Sales Training Management, Sales Management and Marketing Management to insure that training curricula are optimally designed and implemented; supervises assigned Sales Trainers and coordinates their efforts as Oncology experts; ensures that the sanofi-aventis and Oncology curriculum is fully integrated into all sales training interventions as appropriate; effectively manages assigned budget; supervises the updating and maintenance of Internet based training initiatives for the Oncology teams; supports all initiatives of the sales training team.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or Communication-related field
3-5 years successful pharmaceutical sales experience in Oncology; Minimum 18 months sales training experience preferred; should have DSM designation or other manager experience; strong leadership, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; outstanding knowledge of the Oncology marketplace; ability to plan and think strategically
