Laboratory Associate

Excellent opportunity for a Laboratory Associate with a leading Biomediacal company in the Irvine area!

With limited supervision, perform a wide variety of routine chemical tests as directed by the exempt staff. This includes the selection of the proper methods and procedures by referring to the laboratory procedure manuals

Under supervision, perform selected non-routine testing activities, as directed by the exempt staff

Set up and operate a variety of standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pH meter, conductivity meter, polarimeter, chromatographic equipment, automatic titrator, UV/VIS spectrometer)

Record all test data using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and laboratory notebooks in conformance with customerpolicies and Good Manufacturing Practices

Prepare and update laboratory logs, and perform other laboratory duties such as preparing test reagents and standard solutions and washing glassware

Maintain the work area in a neat, orderly, and safe manner, and identify needed laboratory supplies and follow up with the requisitions for such supplies
