Laboratory Aid (3695856)

Position Title: Laboratory Aid Department: R&D Salary Range: $30K ($14.42/HR)

Position Summary: Work to support the R&D department by ensuring availability of basic research equipment, cleaning, and maintenance

Position responsibilities:

1.Clean and sterilize glassware
2.Operate and test sterilizers, routine maintenance of steam generator
3.Assist in sample preparation for enzyme assays of feed samples
4.Responsibility for manufacturing of enzyme formulations for oil well industry
5.Miscellaneous other maintenance and support functions for building and department maintenance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1.High school education
2.Mechanical ability and problem solving skill
3.Strong aptitude for service work
4.Detail oriented
5.Literate in basic computer operation, and programs like Microsoft Excel
6.Ability for manual work required for light manufacturing
7.Ability to safely learn the operation of fork lift equipment
