On Assignment Lab Support, the company run by scientists for scientists, currently has a temporary-to-hire Microbiology Lab Technician job opportunity available for new graduates. We also have several QA Technician positions within the food industry in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area!

We are looking for AS/BA/BS graduates with a background in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, and Food Science. We will also consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, have positive attitudes, computer proficiency, a willingness to learn and work well in a group environment.

Prior techniques/instrumentation experimentation experience in some or all of the following areas is preferred.
•Wet chemical testing (pH, viscosity, KF, titrations, dilutions, extractions, etc.)
•Microbiological analysis (gram stains, plate streaking, serial dilutions, aseptic technique)
